This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create advanced mathematical challenges for the training and assessment of cutting-edge AI systems.

• Develop deterministic problems that yield a single correct solution.

• Compose comprehensive, validated solutions and thoroughly document the reasoning behind them.

• Construct problems that evaluate profound mathematical reasoning rather than mere memorization.

• Utilize Python or specialized tools to establish computational workflows whenever applicable.

• Ensure that all outputs are technically accurate, reproducible, and well-articulated in English.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.

• Significant research or industry experience in areas such as mathematical modeling, proof-based reasoning, applied mathematics, or computational mathematics.

• Proficient in Python, with familiarity in libraries like numpy, scipy, pandas, or similar.

• Strong understanding of algorithms, numerical methods, and computational techniques.

• Capability to design original, challenging problems that reflect authentic mathematical workflows.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong technical writing abilities in English.

• Experience with symbolic mathematics systems, theorem provers, optimization solvers, or other mathematical software (preferred).

• A background in olympiad-level, graduate-level, or research-level problem formulation (preferred).

• Experience in evaluating model reasoning, benchmarking, or designing technical assessments (preferred).
