Math Teaching Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer in-class and after-class support to AMC10 students.

• Ensure classes are organized, address student inquiries, inform parents about absences, and foster a conducive study atmosphere.

• Encourage students to submit their homework, evaluate assignments, direct students to office hours, and respond to questions from students or parents.

• Provide prompt and constructive feedback on assignments and performances.

• Manage the WeCom parent group throughout the semester.

• Create video explanations for homework challenges.

• Edit textbooks and other educational resources.

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in both English and Chinese.

• Advanced degrees like a Master's or prior experience in AMC10 competition are highly preferred.

• A strong passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential.

• A sense of responsibility and responsiveness to support remote work effectively.

• Availability on weekends is necessary.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• CPT/OPT candidates are welcome.

• Teaching Fee: $30 per hour.

• Non-Teaching Fee: $16-20 per hour; this includes class preparation and after-class duties such as grading assignments, responding to parent inquiries, and providing periodic feedback.

• Commission: 15% Target Performance Bonus.
