This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Instruct math courses in a manner that is clear, engaging, and focused on student needs.
• Implement lessons utilizing Think Academy’s curriculum, lesson resources, and teaching strategies.
• Assist students in developing a solid understanding of topics spanning various grade levels.
• Oversee a virtual or physical classroom, fostering a positive and high-expectation learning environment.
• Evaluate homework and provide prompt academic feedback.
• Maintain professional communication with students and parents regarding progress, performance, and educational objectives.
• Engage in teacher training, lesson planning, and continuous professional development.
• Dedicate approximately 30–40 hours per week, primarily with classes scheduled during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
• Bachelor’s degree either completed or in progress.
• Strong foundational knowledge in mathematics.
• A genuine passion for teaching and fostering student development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to at least one semester with a fixed teaching schedule (the Fall semester concludes in December 2026).
• Availability to work during weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
• Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, camp teaching, classroom instruction, or working with students is advantageous.
• Background in math competitions (such as AMC or similar experiences) is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Must be available for a 5-day paid on-site training in San Jose, CA as part of the onboarding process.
