Math Instructor, FT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Teach small “core” groups of students to enhance their math skills.

• Monitor student advancement using Vanguard’s distinctive multi-phase curriculum.

• Demonstrate professionalism and excellent organizational abilities.

• Lead the creation and innovative implementation of lesson plans and curriculum.

• Provide mentorship to middle and high school students with understanding and empathy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or a related STEM discipline (Master’s degree or higher preferred; entry-level candidates are welcome).

• A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in math and/or experience at a college-level tutoring center.

• A GPA of 3.5 or above.

• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites.

• Must have access to a dependable internet connection and a quiet workspace with minimal distractions.
