This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the implementation of IM’s content strategy by aiding in the creation of IM curricula and professional learning materials.
• Analyze feedback on curriculum and professional learning products to inform necessary revisions.
• Collaborate and strategize for new product components.
• Draft, review, and modify new product components to ensure alignment with established design principles, style guides, product feedback, and educational trends.
• Work with the team on project planning, product design, work processes, and problem-solving.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with mathematics content (TK-6, 4-9, or 5-12), including familiarity with the Common Core State Standards and Progressions Documents.
• At least 2 years of experience in facilitating professional learning for educators at the elementary, middle, or high school levels.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in writing professional learning workshops and materials for mathematics educators across elementary, middle, or high school.
• At least 2 years of experience in designing problem-based curriculum materials.
• Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following specific domains: Learning Models (Centers, Workshops, PBL, Co-teaching, etc.).
• Early Education: Knowledge of developmental needs to support educators and students from PreK to 2nd grade.
• Elementary Education: Understanding of developmental needs to support both lower and upper elementary grade educators and students.
• Secondary Education: Knowledge of integrated versus traditional math curriculum pathways and accelerated approaches for all learners.
• Alignment & Transition: Understanding of strategies to support vertical alignment within grade bands and horizontal alignment concerning depth and complexity of both professional learning and curricular content.
• Enhancing Access & Equity: Expertise in the authentic integration of culturally responsive and sustaining educational practices, universal design learning, multilingual learner supports, etc., within professional learning and curricular products.
• Learning Environments: Ability to design curricular and professional learning experiences that can adapt to dynamic settings such as asynchronous, in-person, virtual, and social media.
• Experience in facilitating the learning of coaches, instructional leaders, and other school leaders.
• Integrations: Capacity to incorporate cross-curricular and technology-based learning within math curriculum and professional development.
• Must reside in and have legal authorization to work in the USA.
