This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Execute tasks necessary for the creation, modification, validation, and rationalization of enterprise master data.
• Assess, authenticate, and implement global master data creation and modification requests within a multi-system framework.
• Conduct basic statistical and relational analyses of extensive data sets to identify and rectify inconsistencies and anomalies.
• Validate and distribute modifications to master data (Customer, Material, Vendor) as sanctioned by the business review process.
• Evaluate, validate, prioritize, and carry out requests for large-scale adjustments to Customer, Material, and Vendor master data.
• Oversee the workload balancing system and process limitations to guarantee that service level targets are met.
• Communicate and collaborate with business units to gain a comprehensive understanding of business needs and the implications of master data modifications.
• Inform and update requestors and key stakeholders on status as necessary.
• Review, validate, and implement Customer and Vendor hierarchy creation and modification requests.
• Respond to escalation notices to hasten the creation or modification of master data by prioritizing and redistributing other requests in accordance with a defined escalation protocol when required.
• Utilize business rules and best practices when reviewing requests to identify errors in global data fields, and reject, escalate, or remediate issues as needed.
• Manage multiple tasks in a multi-functional setting while maintaining service level targets.
• Prioritize, implement, follow up, and monitor data collection and validation projects (RFD).
• Sustain and improve governance rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), naming conventions, and other enterprise data standards for Customer, Material, and Vendor master data.
• High School diploma.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in analyzing, validating, and posting data, or a bachelor's degree.
• Familiarity with departmental functions, terminology, and interrelationships for data types such as Customer, Vendor, and Material.
• Preferred experience in wholesale foodservice distribution, master data analysis, or similar data management roles.
• Capability to select and consistently apply established policies and procedures.
• Basic statistical and relational analysis skills, including sound logical reasoning.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise information.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular focus on MS Excel, and experience with SAP and SAP Master Data Management applications preferred.
