Master AI / Machine Learning Specialist, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop multi-agent AI architectures utilizing AWS Bedrock.

• Create agent orchestration logic and collaborative workflows for agents.

• Set up and manage AWS Bedrock Agents, Knowledge Bases, and Guardrails.

• Construct Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases and embeddings.

• Integrate tools using Model Context Protocol (MCP) and API-driven services.

• Enhance LLM behavior through prompt engineering, tuning, and context management.

• Formulate observability and monitoring strategies for AI workflows employing CloudWatch and X-Ray.

• Develop scalable event-driven architectures and resilient integration patterns.

• Design mechanisms for error handling, retry strategies, and graceful degradation.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and architecture teams to produce production-grade AI solutions.

• Assist in infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines utilizing IaC and CI/CD methodologies.

• Ensure compliance, governance, auditability, and security standards across AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in building production AI/ML systems on AWS.

• Strong practical knowledge of AWS Bedrock Agents (AgentCore).

• Experience in designing multi-agent systems and agent orchestration workflows.

• Familiarity with AWS Bedrock Knowledge Bases (RAG), vector embeddings, and OpenSearch Serverless.

• Expertise in AWS Bedrock Guardrails, including PII protection and content governance.

• Experience in implementing tool calls, function invocation, and state management.

• Strong background in prompt engineering and LLM optimization.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS observability tools: CloudWatch, X-Ray, and Distributed tracing.

• Familiarity with API Gateway, DynamoDB, and event-driven architectures.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and AWS CDK.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for ML and AI systems.

• Ability to design resilient and fault-tolerant AI applications.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.

• Nice to Have: Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP).

• Experience using AWS Step Functions for workflow orchestration.

• Familiarity with CloudFront, S3, and AWS WAF.

• Knowledge of conversational AI UX patterns and hybrid interaction models.

• Experience in session persistence and conversation state management.

• Understanding of compliance and governance requirements: PII handling, audit trails, and data retention.

• Experience in optimizing AWS Bedrock and OpenSearch operational costs.

• Familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks and AI quality metrics.

• Experience in multi-turn dialogue management and context preservation.

• Knowledge of explainability and AI reasoning visualization techniques.
