Marketing Proposal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business development and operations teams in the East Region to support pursuit initiatives.

• Assist in the preparation of both formal and informal client solicitations throughout the entire pursuit lifecycle.

• Work alongside business line growth teams and operations to facilitate the process of securing new work.

• Lead and support the responses to client solicitations while adhering to established pursuit processes.

• Organize and deliver high-quality submissions in print, electronic, and oral formats.

• Contribute to proposal strategy by conducting market research and analyzing competitive intelligence.

• Create annotated outlines and provide guidance to technical teams regarding section structure.

• May act as the lead writer/editor for key sections, including resumes, past performance summaries, executive summaries, and management approaches.

• Facilitate or assist in color reviews and quality assessments.

• Engage in go/no-go and greenlight analyses in accordance with delegation of authority guidelines, while supporting capture planning and positioning efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

• Over 4 years of experience in supporting or leading proposal development within a marketing or business development team.

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe InDesign.

• Experience in responding to RFQs/RFPs and producing compliant, high-quality submissions.

• Capability to translate complex technical information into clear and compelling content.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Knowledge of proposal strategy, compliance, and production processes.

• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
