This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Collaborate with the East Region's business development and operations teams to support pursuit initiatives.
• Prepare both formal and informal client solicitations throughout the entire pursuit lifecycle.
• Engage with business line growth teams and operations to facilitate the process of securing work.
• Lead and assist in crafting responses to client solicitations while adhering to standard pursuit methodologies.
• Organize and produce high-quality print, electronic, and oral proposal submissions.
• Contribute to proposal strategy through market analysis, competitive intelligence, and data systems.
• Lead small to medium-sized proposals and provide support for larger proposals and presentations.
• Aid capture managers in developing winning strategies.
• Create annotated outlines and offer recommendations to technical teams.
• Act as the lead writer/editor for essential sections, including resumes, past performance, and executive summaries.
• Facilitate or assist in color reviews (Pink and Red Team) and quality evaluations.
• Take part in go/no-go and greenlight analyses in accordance with established guidelines.
• Conduct internal debriefs for proposals led and assist in win/loss debriefs and client feedback initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in supporting or leading proposal development within a marketing or business development team, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe InDesign.
• Experience in responding to RFQs/RFPs and generating compliant, high-quality submissions.
• Capability to translate complex technical information into clear and engaging content.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Understanding of proposal strategy, compliance, and production processes.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
