Marketing Project Manager – Health Care Organizations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing customer growth, engagement, and retention.

• Act as the main operational contact for Lines of Business project intake while ensuring alignment with the quarterly planning established by the Sr Manager, Segment Marketing – HCO.

• Collaborate with the Sr Manager, Segment Marketing – HCO and internal stakeholders to manage the development and finalization of creative briefs.

• Supervise project plans, timelines, workflows, budgets, and task assignments across creative, digital, web, analytics, and sales teams.

• Monitor the status of all ongoing marketing projects, campaigns, and deliverables; proactively identify risks, dependencies, and obstacles.

• Facilitate project handoffs, kickoffs, and review cycles to ensure clear understanding of goals, messaging, assets, and timelines.

• Assist in project intake processes, prioritization frameworks, and resource distribution.

• Work closely with creative, web, digital, events, and sales teams to guarantee the timely and accurate delivery of assets, content, and campaign components.

• Provide summaries of meetings, project progress reports, documentation, milestone tracking, and follow-up communications for LOB marketing initiatives.

• Address project inquiries, clarify ownership, and appropriately escalate issues when timelines, deliverables, resources, or approvals are at risk.

• Coordinate campaign assets with creative, digital, web, and other internal teams.

• Maintain well-organized repositories for campaign materials, templates, creative briefs, and historical project documentation in SharePoint or other designated folders.

• Assist in preparing presentations, collateral, or briefing materials for both internal and external partners.

• Ensure all marketing outputs comply with AORN’s brand, regulatory, and quality standards, collaborating closely with the creative team to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and values.

• Ensure that all assets for every project (copy, design, web content, collateral, email sequences, social assets) go through the correct review and approval processes within the marketing team and among LOB stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the Sr Manager, Segment Marketing to compile campaign performance metrics, dashboards, post-campaign reports, and maintain playbooks for the sales team.

• Assist the Marketing Segment team in assessing marketing technology tools, workflows, or systems that might enhance efficiency.

• Support the Sr Manager, Segment Marketing - HCO in compiling campaign performance metrics, KPI tracking, dashboards, post-campaign reports, and outcomes summaries to help identify trends, risks, opportunities, and strategies to optimize spending and improve future campaigns.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, project management, or a related field.

• A combination of educational qualifications and work experience may be accepted in lieu of the bachelor’s degree.

• At least 3 to 4 years of experience in project management or marketing operations, preferably within the healthcare sector (medical, hospitals, or related healthcare industries), professional associations, or an agency serving clients in these industries.

• Experience with marketing tools such as CMS, CRM, marketing automation, workflow/project management platforms, and analytics dashboards.

• Preferred: Experience in an agency environment, whether internal or external.

• Familiarity with integrated marketing campaigns, digital marketing workflows, marketing AI capabilities, and cross-functional creative processes.

• PMP, CPM, or equivalent project management certification.

• Strong project management skills, including timeline creation, tracking, documentation, and communication.

• Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects with a keen attention to detail and organization.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels, including creative, digital, sales, and LOB leaders.

• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality.

• Knowledge of healthcare industry dynamics.
