This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Take full ownership of the marketing content calendar from start to finish, ensuring it's maintained at least 4 weeks in advance across all channels — serving as the definitive source for launch timelines.
• Manage the delivery process for launches and announcements: every brand moment receives a structured plan, including owners, timelines, and assets tracked for publication. Ensuring timely and organized shipping is essential.
• Secure approvals from team members and leadership, promptly identifying bottlenecks within 1 business day.
• Schedule and publish all approved content on time across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
• Oversee X as a channel: transform LinkedIn and newsletter content within the same week of publication, tailored to fit the platform rather than simply copying and pasting.
• Conduct quality assurance for all content prior to going live: including copy, assets, links, tagging, and formatting.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date scheduling tools, asset libraries, and content archives.
• Foster community engagement across Darkroom's social media platforms by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a manner that aligns with our brand voice.
• Monitor social sentiment and highlight relevant conversations, trends, or opportunities to the wider team.
• Assess community health and provide insights on what is driving genuine conversations versus mere noise.
• Manage the creator CRM, ensuring it is updated weekly — the VP of Marketing leads our creator partnership program, and you ensure its logistics are efficient.
• Execute the biweekly email newsletter: create the send in the ESP, conduct QA, schedule, launch, and report on performance. Content is provided by the VP of Marketing; deployment is your responsibility.
• Oversee email list management: ensuring hygiene, segmentation, imports, compliance, and tracking for growth.
• Assist with podcast production: including guest scheduling, recording logistics, and coordination for the monthly episode and its clips.
• Execute PR initiatives: when Darkroom receives press coverage (such as trade features, announcements, or awards), you will manage the distribution plan across channels, coordinating timing and assets, and tracking coverage.
• A background of 2 to 4 years in marketing operations, social media management, or marketing project management, preferably at an agency or dynamic brand where you managed a calendar with significant volume.
• Authentic fluency across social media platforms. You know how a brand should present itself on LinkedIn versus Instagram versus X versus TikTok, and you can act on that instinctively without needing a briefing.
• Demonstrated project management skills: you have successfully managed content or campaign calendars involving multiple stakeholders, pursued approvals from busy executives, and executed launches with firm deadlines.
• Strong writing skills. You can respond to a DM, adapt a LinkedIn post for X, and identify weak copy during QA — all while maintaining the brand's voice.
• Comfortable using Notion (our operational platform) and contemporary scheduling tools.
• Proficient with AI. Our team utilizes AI for analytics, reporting, and drafting — you should be eager to create workflows with these tools rather than feeling apprehensive about them.
• Highly organized and self-motivated. You take charge of your workload, identify issues early, and require minimal guidance on next steps.
• Composed under pressure. Launch weeks can be hectic; you keep operations running smoothly regardless.
• Bonus Points:
• Experience in ecommerce, DTC, or performance marketing settings.
• Hands-on experience with ESP (Klaviyo, HubSpot, beehiiv, Substack) to build and deploy emails independently.
• Experience with podcast or video production logistics, including guest coordination, scheduling, recording, and publishing.
• Established or expanded a social media presence for yourself, a brand, or a project.
• Engaged with creators or influencer programs from an operational perspective.
• Familiarity with Figma.
• Unlimited PTO + Local holidays (Applicable to your location): Taking time to recharge is essential for maintaining peak performance.
• Remote-First Culture: Many positions are fully remote. Employees located in or near our New York or Lisbon headquarters are expected to work in a hybrid model with weekly in-office attendance. Hub locations include Brazil and Spain.
• Parental Leave: Flexible parental leave designed to support new parents during this critical transition.
• Growth: Our interdisciplinary approach allows every Darkroomer to gain experience beyond their core responsibilities. Enhance your skills, broaden your influence, and remain at the forefront of the industry.
