This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Define and enhance Maximus's visual identity across all touchpoints, ensuring our brand embodies our position at the intersection of science, technology, and human potential.
• Develop and uphold comprehensive brand standards that are scalable across digital, physical, and emerging platforms.
• Create and continually refine our brand book, establishing it as the guiding principle for all creative expressions.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to translate business objectives into captivating creative strategies.
• Build and optimize a high-velocity creative asset generation system capable of producing premium content at scale.
• Implement systems and workflows that balance creative excellence with the requirements of a rapidly growing performance medicine company.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to gauge creative impact and continuously enhance output quality and efficiency.
• Drive the adoption of emerging creative technologies and AI tools to speed up production without sacrificing quality.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a world-class creative team comprising designers, copywriters, motion designers, and production specialists.
• Cultivate a culture of creative excellence, experimentation, and accountability.
• Develop clear career paths and growth opportunities for team members.
• Balance in-house capabilities with strategic external partnerships and agencies.
• Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Growth teams to ensure creative amplifies business objectives.
• Partner with clinical and science teams to translate complex medical concepts into accessible, engaging content.
• Collaborate with Technology teams to ensure seamless creative implementation across digital platforms.
• Support Sales and Partnership teams with materials that facilitate business development.
• Oversee all creative output, including campaigns, digital experiences, product design elements, environmental design, and content creation.
• Ensure that every creative touchpoint reinforces Maximus's position as the premium leader in performance medicine.
• Champion innovative approaches that set Maximus apart in a crowded wellness landscape.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in flagship projects while effectively delegating and empowering the team.
• Over 8 years of creative leadership experience, including a minimum of 3 years in building and managing creative teams.
• Proven history of developing brands in health, wellness, technology, or premium consumer sectors.
• Extensive expertise in brand development, visual systems, and multi-channel creative execution.
• Experience in establishing high-performance creative operations that balance quality with speed.
• A portfolio showcasing breakthrough creative work that yields measurable business results.
• Strong understanding of digital-first creative and emerging platforms.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present to and influence C-level stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field (MFA or advanced degree preferred).
