This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Lead and articulate Cigna’s strategically unique clinical value proposition to employers, brokers, and internal collaborators.
• Utilize market segmentation, outcomes and affordability analytics, insights from THI and finalist meetings, and dynamics from broker/consultant engagement to inform clinical strategies.
• Support Growth Leaders by fostering and sustaining strong relationships with clinical stakeholders within client organizations, consultants, and local market associations.
• Collaborate with market sales teams to highlight product and Cigna's clinical differentiation.
• Co-create and execute market-segmented and tailored strategic client roadmaps.
• Attend client meetings to deliver clinical analysis related to outcomes, experiences, and affordability.
• Represent Cigna at industry and local market events, acting as a clinical ambassador.
• Communicate and reinforce Cigna’s clinical policies and expectations to employers.
• Provide in-services to the sales team about clinical programs and services, including behavioral, medical, pharmacy, and vendor partnerships.
• Assist Sales in forming impactful presentation teams for brokers and clients to ensure effective messaging.
• Collaborate with Product leaders to enhance client retention, growth, and product penetration.
• Transform market demands into innovation opportunities by identifying trends and gathering feedback from clients, brokers, clinicians, industry analysis, and regional partners.
• Identify potential product or policy innovations leveraging external physician advisory panels.
• Identify and/or assist clients or other partners in becoming candidates for pilot studies.
• Act as a clinical resource to create opportunities that enhance employer value and drive enterprise growth.
• Engage in special projects as the market-facing clinical expert to support vital business initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce solutions to the market.
• Provide clinical expertise for medical action strategy planning and the execution of local market affordability goals.
• Support provider and contracting teams with clinical insights on value-based and other contracting initiatives.
• Active and unrestricted Medical License in the state.
• Current Board Certification; primary care preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare business setting and/or Health Plan.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and follow-through abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to operate within a heavily matrixed, diverse, and inclusive organization.
• Track record of achieving results through strategic and tactical solutions.
• Strong skills in building relationships and influencing others.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
