Manufacturing Operations Manager – Modular Data Centers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the production of modular data center solutions, prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Deployment teams to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

• Promote consistency in processes and technical excellence throughout global manufacturing.

• Set a performance baseline and drive critical manufacturing KPIs such as Safety, Quality, Cost, and On-Time Delivery (OTD).

• Create and sustain actionable capacity models that can accommodate intricate product mixes.

• Evaluate S&OP forecasts and material limitations to provide strategic production recommendations.

• Assist the Sourcing function during the supplier selection process and engage in product validation for manufacturing prerequisites.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; an MBA or Master’s in Operations Management is advantageous.

• Over 8 years of experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably in modular construction, heavy electrical infrastructure, or data center systems.

• Demonstrated expertise in capacity modeling, labor standards, and S&OP processes within a high-mix/low-volume setting.

• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Lean Manufacturing practices (Six Sigma, Kaizen).

• Outstanding leadership abilities with the capacity to influence cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment.
