This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• The CNC Maintenance Technician will be tasked with the upkeep of CNC drilling, routing, and laser machinery, along with other advanced controlled equipment utilized in the production of printed circuit boards.
• They will identify and resolve electrical and mechanical failures, as well as address process-related issues.
• The CNC Maintenance Technician will also carry out calibrations for the CNC machinery.
• A thorough understanding of equipment operation and features is essential to effectively leverage them in the manufacturing process.
• Execute recommended maintenance activities as outlined by the equipment manufacturer.
• Diagnose CNC equipment malfunctions.
• Conduct calibrations and maintain documentation for traceability purposes.
• Offer instruction and support for proper operation of the equipment.
• Education: An Associate degree or a 2-year Trade School certificate in Electricity or Electronics is required.
• Experience: While prior experience in the Printed Circuit Board industry is not necessary, candidates should have a robust electrical background and mechanical skills.
• Ability: Candidates must be adept at organizing their time and resources to complete scheduled tasks independently.
• Quick learning of new procedures and technical information is essential.
