Manual QA Engineer – Frontline Feature, Support Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing activities.

• Develop comprehensive test cases including Test Plans and traceability documentation.

• Verify backend data utilizing SQL Server Management Studio.

• Assess file integrations through internal tools.

• Document evidence and defects using internal systems.

• Execute various testing types: Exploratory testing, Feature Testing, Regression Testing, and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required, along with Workflow validation across distributed systems.

• Assess document outputs and compliance workflows with Azure Document Intelligence.

• Replicate and verify customer issues.

• Collaborate with automation engineers to create and review tests; additionally, demonstrate a willingness to learn automation using AI tools.

• Serve as the first point of contact for hot fixes and patches.

• Present new features and fixes to Compliance, Customer, or Product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in manual testing.

• Strong grasp of QA methodologies, various testing types, and the defect lifecycle.

• Capability to design, write, and maintain clear and organized test cases, including test plans and traceability.

• In-depth knowledge of exploratory, functional, regression, and system testing methodologies.

• Proficient in validating backend data using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or equivalent tools.

• Familiarity with testing file integrations and systems based on workflows.

• Experience in capturing and documenting testing evidence and defects using QA tools.

• Ability to validate end-to-end workflows within distributed systems.

• Proficient in reproducing, analyzing, and troubleshooting issues reported by customers.

• Understanding of document validation processes and compliance workflows (such as Azure Document Intelligence or similar tools).

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with developers, automation engineers, and stakeholders.

• Capability to support UAT activities and validate production hotfixes.

• Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with production support responsibilities.

• Strong attention to detail coupled with analytical thinking.
