Manual QA Engineer – Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Validate **comprehensive mortgage workflows** (application → closing) for adherence to compliance and business accuracy.

• Review testing scenarios to guarantee alignment with **regulatory standards and lender requirements**.

• Define and confirm anticipated outputs for:

• - Disclosures, fees, **APR/APOR**, escrow, mortgage insurance.

• Collaborate with **Compliance, Product, BA, and QA teams** to ensure thorough risk-based test coverage.

• Identify deficiencies in **regression and automation coverage** pertaining to mortgage logic and regulations.

• Direct the **test data strategy**, which includes:

• - Edge cases.

• - State-specific regulations.

• - Investor-specific scenarios.

• Ensure coverage of **high-risk workflows sensitive to compliance**.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of the **mortgage sector**:

• - Loan lifecycle, disclosures, calculations, compliance regulations.

• Experience in validating **financial calculations and adherence to regulatory standards**.

• Ability to evaluate **business accuracy**, beyond just functional outcomes.

• Experience collaborating with **cross-functional teams** (Compliance, Product, QA).

• Exceptional attention to detail in **documentation-intensive environments**.

• **Preferred Qualifications**

• - Experience with **Loan Origination Systems (LOS)**.

• - Background in **FinTech or regulated sectors**.

• - Familiarity with **test case design and QA methodologies**.
