Mandarin and Malay – English Interpreters

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise and prompt medical interpretation between patients and healthcare professionals.

• Conduct both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting sessions.

• Ensure the appropriate application of medical terminology.

• Promote clear and culturally sensitive communication within medical environments.

• Provide interpretation support for both legal and medical contexts.

• Engage in OPI/VRI or scheduled appointments across various shifts.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 months of experience in professional interpretation.

• Proficiency in Malay and Mandarin is essential.

• Demonstrated knowledge in the Medical or Legal fields.

• Availability for OPI/VRI or scheduled interpreting appointments.

• Exceptional listening, note-taking, and memory retention capabilities.

• A professional setup that complies with HIPAA standards.

• A wired USB headset equipped with noise cancellation features.

• Minimum internet speed of 10Mbps for uploads and 20Mbps for downloads.

• The role requires interpreting in both English and Malay/Mandarin.

• Ability to perform both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.

• Proficient use of medical terminology is necessary.
