Managing Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the editorial team and studio personnel.

• Establish the content calendar for upcoming projects.

• Manage a Wordpress website that functions as a newsroom model by writing, leading, and supervising the publication of a substantial volume of written content and in-house produced videos each month.

• Plan and create article production while coordinating with the studio to ensure high-quality and relevant imagery.

• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, including participation in meetings and calls.

• Ensure that production deadlines and targets for the Indonesian food website are met.

• Compose SEO-optimized articles along with recipe, tasting, and engaging videos aligned with the content plan, collaborating with the client during the review process.

• Organize and manage internal processes among teams and freelancers.

• Work alongside the GPC team on project design, including site sessions, category organization, speech alignment, calendar planning, SEO and technical guidelines, execution, and content production.

• Implement, assess, and advance the content strategy, ensuring that targets and KPIs are achieved across the market.

• Act as a brand guardian, upholding the highest quality standards for all content at all times.

• Coordinate with the studio team to ensure photoshoots meet the client's specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in managing a department or hub.

• At least 5 years of experience in crafting and curating content, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.

• Strong knowledge of SEO is a must.

• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and communication capabilities.

• Familiarity with content trends and news platforms across all media, as well as awareness of commercial developments in these areas.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
