Managing Director – Financial Due Diligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee both buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory projects, offering financial and business due diligence support to corporations and private equity investors.

• Evaluate target company information to uncover historical and projected operating patterns, assess the quality of earnings/assets, prepare pro forma financial statements, calculate working capital, and identify debt, debt-like items, and other potential liabilities/risks that affect valuation and negotiations with the target entity.

• Mentor junior team members while managing multiple complex projects concurrently.

• Organize and coordinate the collaboration among clients, CFGI engagement teams, and external diligence providers during the transaction process.

• Spearhead or co-spearhead go-to-market strategies, networking, and client outreach initiatives within your local market or area of industry expertise alongside other senior CFGI leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten years of experience in a transaction advisory role, predominantly in the Big Four accounting firms.

• Background in professional services.

• CPA certification is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%, based on client requirements.
