Managing Director, Custom Strategy Consulting

📋 Description

• Provides strategic guidance for the organization’s custom consulting division.

• Leads the design, implementation, and expansion of services that assist partners in tackling intricate instructional challenges.

• Oversees a team of senior leaders and manages a portfolio of impactful consulting projects.

• Converts organizational strategy into practical workflows for the team.

• Codifies emerging best practices into scalable service frameworks.

• Ensures that custom consulting initiatives enhance both partner outcomes and the organization’s wider learning objectives.

• Takes ownership of custom consulting business development with responsibility for achieving annual revenue goals.

• Fosters and maintains high-trust relationships with current and potential partner senior leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of professional experience in K-12 consulting, instructional enhancement, or organizational leadership.

• Expertise in product and service design, with the capability to guide the development and scaling of new service offerings in highly ambiguous and undefined contexts.

• Demonstrated success in building consulting pipelines, establishing long-term partnerships, and meeting or surpassing annual revenue objectives within the education sector.

• In-depth knowledge of K-12 instructional improvement and the leadership levers, data systems, and frameworks necessary to enhance outcomes for priority student populations.

• Significant experience in managing and developing senior-level leaders, including creating leadership pipelines and assisting Directors and above through complex technical and adaptive challenges.

• Advanced skills in building strategic relationships with senior partner leaders, analyzing complex organizational factors, and influencing system-level decision-making across intricate education systems.
