Managing Counsel DACHF – Wind

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Offer strategic legal guidance to the Wind segment teams, primarily within the DACH region, France, and other designated areas.

• Spearhead the legal and compliance strategy for the Wind segment in collaboration with other internal counsels and in close alignment with the Global Legal & Compliance team for the Wind segment.

• Oversee and mitigate legal risks tied to large-scale projects, which includes negotiation, drafting, execution, interpretation, and review of intricate agreements.

• Counsel the business on emerging, evolving, and distinctive regulatory and compliance matters within the region.

• Assist with segment litigation, arbitration, mediation, and resolution of disputes.

• Supervise outside counsel and manage associated expenditures.

• Provide advice on a broad spectrum of legal issues, encompassing commercial contracts, joint ventures, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and litigation.

• Formulate and execute legal strategies that align with the Wind segment's business objectives.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including finance, sourcing, business development, and operations.

• Promote a culture of teamwork, innovation, and high ethical standards within the Wind segment.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities concurrently and excelling in a fast-paced environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Germany with considerable experience as a practicing attorney.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Extensive background in complex commercial transactions and contracts for large-scale projects.

• Proven ability to provide senior-level legal advice and counsel to executive leadership.

• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
