Managing Counsel DACHF – Wind

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deliver strategic legal counsel to the Wind segment teams, primarily in the DACH region, France, and other designated areas.

• Direct the legal and compliance strategy for the Wind segment in collaboration with other internal counsels and in close alignment with the Global Legal & Compliance team for the Wind segment.

• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to large-scale projects, which includes negotiation, drafting, execution, interpretation, and review of complex agreements.

• Provide guidance to the business on new, evolving, and distinct regulatory and compliance matters in the region.

• Assist with segment litigation, arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution processes.

• Oversee outside counsel and manage associated expenditures.

• Offer advice on a broad spectrum of legal issues, including but not limited to: commercial contracts, joint ventures, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and litigation.

• Formulate and execute legal strategies that align with the Wind segment's business objectives.

• Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, sourcing, business development, and operations.

• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high ethical standards within the Wind segment.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously and excelling in a fast-paced environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be qualified to practice law in Germany with substantial experience as a practicing attorney.

• Proficient in both German and English languages.

• Significant experience in complex commercial transactions and large-scale project contracts.

• Proven ability to provide senior-level legal advice and counsel to executive leadership.

• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
