This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engaging in innovative problem-solving to deliver results for clients.
• Conducting thorough fact-finding, research, and analysis on energy-related initiatives, particularly focusing on climate resilience and adaptation, grid modernization, and sustainability.
• Grasping public and private sources of downscaled climate data, with the capability to download and tailor it to client assets using techniques such as nearest neighbor analysis.
• Executing statistical and economic analyses utilizing Excel, R, and Python.
• Developing materials for workshops and meetings, participating in sessions, and summarizing the outcomes.
• Creating reports, presentations, and various documents for client deliverables.
• Communicating findings of assigned tasks and analyses in a manner that resonates with clients.
• Collaborating effectively with colleagues and client personnel as part of a project team while also being able to work independently when necessary.
• Must be either a US Permanent Resident or a US Citizen.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• At least FIVE (5) years of pertinent industry or consulting experience, excluding internships, co-ops, graduate research, or fellowships.
• Relevant professional experience in climate resilience and adaptation, grid modernization, and sustainability or similar fields.
• Proven team player with the capability to lead technical workstreams in projects, including overseeing junior analysts.
• Orientation towards client service.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience in creating and delivering presentations using PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analytics.
• Strong interest in business strategy, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
• An inquisitive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Meticulous attention to detail throughout all prior academic and professional experiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, prioritize, and organize work activities while adhering to deadlines.
