Managing Attorney – Workers Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Supervise the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from start to finish.

• Guide and mentor a team of attorneys.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality legal work and operational effectiveness.

• Achieve successful outcomes for clients while promoting a collaborative workplace.

• Manage and supervise a team of attorneys and legal personnel.

• Offer mentorship, training, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities for attorneys.

• Oversee case strategy, litigation management, and the quality and consistency of legal work products.

• Direct the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from initiation to final resolution.

• Handle all facets of discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, hearings, and trial preparation.

• Collaborate with firm leadership on workflow management, staffing, and departmental growth strategies.

• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.

• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and developing legal talent.

• Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.

• Ensure adherence to firm policies, procedures, and best practices.
