This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Conduct daily second-line Treasury risk monitoring tasks β€” overseeing and reporting on essential risk indicators, risk limit usage, and exposures related to liquidity and funding risk, interest rate risk (IRR), price risk, and capital management, while escalating any breaches or emerging issues to the Director of Treasury Risk.

β€’ Facilitate independent reviews and provide credible challenges to first-line Bank Treasury operations, which include cash flow management, ALM analysis, balance sheet positioning, investment portfolio management, and the design and results of stress testing β€” creating written analysis and challenge documentation to support the Director's second line of defense (2LOD) positions.

β€’ Develop and maintain ALCO and board risk committee reporting materials, integrating Treasury risk monitoring data and 2LOD findings into concise and accurate reports for senior management, the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), and the board risk oversight committee.

β€’ Revise and update Treasury risk policies, procedures, and program documentation in accordance with OCC, FDIC, and interagency regulations concerning interest rate risk, liquidity and funding risk, and capital management β€” ensuring that documentation remains up-to-date as the program evolves and the bank's risk profile changes.

β€’ Assist in reviewing stress testing scenario design, assumptions, and results β€” pinpointing gaps or inconsistencies between first line of defense (1LOD) assumptions and the bank's real risk profile, and producing structured written analysis to guide the Director's challenge stance.

β€’ Organize regulatory exam preparations and respond to requests from OCC examiners and internal audits related to Treasury risk, ALM, and liquidity and funding oversight; collaborate with other 2LOD risk sectors to ensure that Treasury risk considerations are incorporated into enterprise risk reporting and cross-functional risk evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in finance, economics, mathematics, or a relevant quantitative discipline.

β€’ Over 5 years of experience in Treasury risk management, asset-liability management, liquidity and funding risk, or a similar financial risk function within a banking or financial services context.

β€’ Familiarity with OCC, FDIC, FRB, and interagency guidance on interest rate risk, liquidity and funding risk, and capital management, including pertinent stress testing frameworks.

β€’ Proficient experience in risk reporting, limit monitoring, stress testing analysis, or ALCO support within a banking or regulated financial institution.
