Manager – Tower Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Lead, build, and nurture a growing team of System Engineers.

• Ensure the successful delivery of customer projects from start to finish, focusing on scope, quality, budget, and timelines.

• Develop and refine project governance, delivery models, and operational methodologies.

• Foster collaboration between system engineering, project management, product development, and stakeholders.

• Strategically plan and utilize cross-functional software, hardware, systems, and supplier resources.

• Oversee risk management, integration planning, and readiness for deployment.

• Serve as a senior escalation point for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

• Enhance supplier coordination and delivery performance across the entire value chain.

• Promote continuous improvement, standardization, and scalability in the deployment of mobile ATM solutions.

• Contribute to strategic business development as a member of the Project Execution global leadership team.

• Direct the delivery of remote air traffic management solutions from system design and integration to deployment and operational handover.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in leading project delivery organizations, programs, or engineering-focused delivery teams.

• Strong capability to drive and manage continuous improvement and change initiatives.

• Excellent customer and stakeholder management abilities.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Proven leadership experience, including team building and engineer development.

• Good understanding of project governance, system delivery, and risk management principles.

• Experience in regulated, safety-critical, or mission-critical environments.

• Proficiency in both English and Swedish, both written and spoken.

• Background in delivering complex, system-oriented solutions within software-intensive environments.

• Familiarity with the complete lifecycle of advanced technical systems, from architecture and integration to deployment and operational handover.

• Experience in air traffic management or mobile/deployable systems is an advantage.

• Must successfully complete security vetting in accordance with current regulations.

• Additional citizenship obligations may be applicable for roles requiring security clearance.
