Manager, Strategic Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee the monthly enterprise expense forecasting process, providing timely and actionable insights to support leadership decision-making.

• Take ownership of the development of baseline and budgeted expenses, ensuring they align with both annual and long-range financial plans.

• Manage the budget and forecasting tools, collaborating with IT to prioritize enhancements, guarantee system reliability, and continuously improve planning capabilities.

• Collaborate across departments to influence financial outcomes and foster disciplined expense management through cross-functional teamwork.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team while enhancing analytical skills and promoting continuous improvement in planning processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in corporate budgeting and financial analysis, with the capability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

• Strong expertise in FP&A and financial modeling, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proven critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate ambiguity and support sound financial decisions.

• MBA, CPA, or FPAC certification is preferred.

• Familiarity with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) or similar financial planning tools is preferred.

• Experience in identifying and implementing process improvements, including utilizing AI-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
