This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the Server Onboarding team to ensure efficient activation of new servers at a rapid pace.
• Supervise the initial server imaging, bundled firmware updates, and automated provisioning pipelines.
• Manage responses to capacity management requests that initiate new server deployments.
• Conduct basic post-onboarding validation and guarantee a seamless transition to the Platform team.
• Establish and sustain strong collaboration with Capacity Management, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering teams.
• Develop and enhance automation scripts and validation processes to increase onboarding efficiency.
• Monitor onboarding metrics and promote continual improvements in cycle time and first-pass success rate.
• Mentor team members on best practices for provisioning and assist during peak periods with effective resource allocation.
• Collaborate on significant server migration and repurposing projects as required.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing to mitigate future onboarding challenges.
• Over 7 years of experience in server provisioning, deployment automation, or infrastructure operations in a cloud/data center setting.
• Practical expertise in server imaging, firmware management, and automation tools (Ansible, scripting, etc.).
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing technical teams during high-volume deployment phases.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Experience working with remote hands providers and ticketing/monitoring systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
