Manager, Senior Manager – BI Consulting, Life Sciences, Pharma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create and implement Power BI dashboards and reports tailored for commercial pharmaceuticals (including sales, field force, and HQ reporting).

• Convert business needs into data models, data flows, and scalable BI solutions.

• Lead or support Power BI migration projects and automate reporting processes using Alteryx or similar tools.

• Maintain data quality, validation, and governance throughout the reporting layers.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; oversee Agile delivery and support improvements, including chatbot and AI integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10-16 years of relevant professional experience in Commercial Pharma or Life Sciences analytics, insights, or consulting roles.

• 5-7 years of experience in a BI Manager/Consultant role or similar position.

• Proven ability to engage with stakeholders across Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Market Access functions.

• Proficient in SQL and possess hands-on experience with analytic tools such as R and Python, as well as visualization tools like Power BI.

• Comprehensive understanding of standard data sources—particularly pharmacy, HUB, CRM, IQVIA, alignments, and related datasets—along with the nuances and quality controls necessary to ensure accuracy.

• Familiarity with tools and concepts associated with data and analytics, including data modeling, dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, and both structured and unstructured data.

• Capacity to engage with executive/VP-level stakeholders from the client’s team to translate business challenges into high-level analytical solutions.

• Experience in managing large accounts with active involvement in account expansion; prior P&L ownership would be an advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, an MBA, or equivalent professional experience.
