Manager, Security Engineering – Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a hybrid team comprising analysts and engineers.

• Supervise the entire vulnerability management lifecycle.

• Ensure that Security Engineering establishes the necessary preventive and detective controls.

• Promote a culture of 'Automation and AI' within the team.

• Act as the primary escalation point for incidents.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Infrastructure to embed security measures.

• Convert technical projects and operational risks into business language.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Security Engineering or Operations.

• Comprehensive working knowledge of AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and Postgres.

• Proven experience in developing or enhancing a vulnerability management program.

• Strong enthusiasm for utilizing AI in security applications.

• Capability to evaluate security metrics such as MTTR and vulnerability burn-down rates.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage relationships with upper management.

• Experience in identifying Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).

• Extensive knowledge of SaaS environments and demonstrating controls for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance.

• Excellent communication skills to convey technical risks to non-technical audiences.
