• Oversee a team of Regional Accounts Managers within a specified geographic area.
• Effectively promote PreventionGenetics’ products and services to physicians and other healthcare providers in the designated region.
• Recruit, train, coach, and lead the team while managing their performance.
• Maintain up-to-date professional, genetic, and technical knowledge of PreventionGenetics products, policies, and procedures.
• Train, mentor, and coach sales team members to enhance their skills.
• Accompany direct reports on travel to observe their performance and provide training and coaching.
• Manage the sales targets for the assigned area and report ongoing progress to the management team.
• Establish and maintain continuous communication and effective operating mechanisms for the team.
• Ensure compliance with all Quality, Regulatory, and Company policies and guidelines within the sales force.
• Identify and cultivate strong relationships with key thought leaders and decision-makers in the region.
• Gather ongoing customer insights, market trends, and competitive data, communicating findings to leadership and colleagues.
• Utilize current product and technical expertise to effectively present and discuss the technology and its clinical benefits.
• Ensure the regional sales force makes effective use of sales processes, approved marketing materials, and product promotion resources.
• Manage open territories efficiently while recruiting new personnel in the event of a vacancy.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field as outlined in the essential duties.
• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales role within the medical, healthcare, or technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a sales leadership position.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; no suspensions, revocations, surrenders, invalid licenses, etc. are permitted.
• No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents in the last 36 months.
• No alcohol or drug-related incidents while operating a vehicle, including Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) failures or refusals to submit to tests, in the last 36 months.
• No other findings from the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check that expose Exact Sciences to an unacceptable level of liability.
• Ability to meet any healthcare facility requirements for access (e.g., vaccination and mask requirements).
• Proven ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
