Manager, Product Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Define team priorities for the research and development of innovative data collection prototypes, extensive data analytic frameworks, and risk assessment techniques.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to synchronize capability development roadmaps and facilitate the transition of research prototypes into production settings.

• Break down long-term strategic business challenges into actionable technical research plans.

• Recruit, train, and cultivate a diverse international team of security researchers with varying backgrounds and skill sets.

• Clearly communicate research findings to business stakeholders, offering quantitative recommendations on business processes, priorities, and investment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and oversee quality assurance processes for team research and data.

• Generate ideas for product features and improvements based on current security trends and capabilities.

• Identify, establish, and nurture data partnership opportunities in conjunction with Data Operations by scouting and evaluating the product value within third-party data sources.

• Assist in marketing initiatives and customer interactions by showcasing key findings and capabilities, as well as clarifying product data and rating concepts.

• Strong technical foundation with expertise in networking and information security.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills, including the capacity to identify and resolve ambiguous issues.

• Experience in leading research initiatives and managing teams.

• Proficient in standard scripting languages.

• Demonstrated success in security data analysis and presentation.

• Ability to conduct statistical experiments and create rapid prototypes.

• Education: B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
