This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Develop and implement an annual marketing strategy along with quarterly tactical plans for assigned Tier 1 and 2 adoption states, crafting collateral and messaging that aligns with the national strategy while allowing for necessary state market customization.
• Establish a messaging framework that ensures consistent product positioning and communication, distinguishing Great Minds and enabling all customer-facing teams to utilize it effectively.
• Formulate marketing strategies informed by audience insights obtained through research and close collaboration with both the math product team and the sales team.
• Maintain messaging consistency throughout all customer-facing materials and communications.
• Collaborate with the National Campaigns team and Regional Marketing Managers to create integrated campaigns aimed at driving growth.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships through collaborative efforts with the math product team, content and editorial staff, as well as other marketing team members.
• Work closely with the Product Managers for math to relay new product features and benefits to the sales team, and collaborate with sales to develop training, resources, and tools that facilitate selling.
• Partner with the marketing events team and the math product team to position Great Minds as a leader in math curriculum development at national, regional, and state-level conferences.
• Strategize with design and web marketing teams to create engaging customer-facing marketing presentations, web pages, and collateral materials.
• Align campaigns with the sales funnel stages—top, middle, or bottom—considering influencers, decision-makers, and current customers in the messaging approach.
• Collaborate with the digital marketing team on content creation for both organic and paid social media placements.
• Engage in market research projects to gain insights into the national or state-level math curriculum landscape.
• Assess industry trends and customer insights to shape product positioning and marketing initiatives.
• Synthesize research findings to guide the product roadmap.
• Over 5 years of experience in creating and executing innovative strategic marketing plans tailored for the K–12 education market, with a focus on marketing math curriculum and at least 1 year of experience managing a high-performing team.
• Proven track record of launching new products within the education sector, particularly regarding state and district curriculum adoptions.
• Proficient in using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across an organization and within functional teams to achieve common goals.
• Comfortable seeking clarification to enhance understanding of educational products and pedagogical advancements.
• Excellent communication skills with the capability to clearly convey complex information both verbally and in writing.
• Competent in managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience in managing relationships and prioritizing tasks among various stakeholders.
• Ability to transition seamlessly between strategic initiatives and tactical tasks.
