This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Contribute to the success of the team.
• Collaborate with Regional and Department Leadership to ensure a cohesive approach to problem-solving and achieving departmental objectives.
• Assign project tasks to match employee strengths, interests, goals, growth opportunities, and workloads.
• Mentor on core competencies and skill development for employees to utilize in their daily responsibilities.
• Facilitate direct and effective communication among project teams.
• Utilize enterprise business tools to promote organizational improvements.
• Lead initiatives to fulfill team and company objectives.
• Work alongside Regional Leaders to cultivate a team environment where individuals feel fulfilled and are progressing towards their maximum potential.
• Celebrate successes and recognize the achievements of the team.
• Engage in departmental recruitment and hiring initiatives.
• Establish and guide professional development plans.
• Collaborate with employees to align personal values, professional aspirations, position responsibilities, and project opportunities into a cohesive professional development plan.
• Analyze and relay feedback to employees based on direct interactions and insights gathered from project teams.
• Identify growth opportunities and offer coaching to proactively address challenges.
• Provide guidance on career direction for short, medium, and long-term goals.
• Recognize when HR support is necessary and collaborate effectively.
• Manage effectively to promote positive team engagement and fulfillment.
• Support business development for both new and existing clients.
• Assist sales and marketing efforts as a subject matter expert in Planning Service’s solutions.
• Identify and support cross-selling and upselling opportunities for all Gordian solutions, working closely with regional sales account executives for further development.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationship management strategies for clients, in conjunction with the Regional Leader or Regional Sales representative as needed; collaborate with Project Managers to support client relationship management and partner with Resource Leaders to ensure project execution while overcoming customer delivery challenges.
• Provide thought leadership to the industry.
• Participate in the enhancement of our products, responding to industry demands and customer feedback.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in people management.
• Familiarity with and solid understanding of the Facilities Condition Assessment Process and Facilities Capital Planning.
• Strong communication and public speaking abilities.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the capability to manage multiple direct reports and projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Physical requirements for this position include the ability to walk around a campus environment for 6-8 hours a day, as well as the capacity to ascend/descend ladders and/or work outdoors in various weather conditions several times a month.
