This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of U.S. multi-state payroll processing, ensuring precision, punctuality, and adherence to all regulatory standards.

• Manage equity programs including stock options, RSUs, and ESPP throughout their entire lifecycle.

• Collaborate with Fidelity or similar platforms to oversee equity operations and uphold data accuracy.

• Create and uphold SOX-compliant payroll and equity controls, encompassing documentation, reconciliations, and audit assistance.

• Develop and continually enhance an audit-ready infrastructure that scales as the company grows.

• Streamline payroll and equity processes to boost efficiency while ensuring robust controls remain intact.

• Guarantee compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including filings and reporting.

• Maintain and reconcile information across payroll, equity, HRIS, and finance systems.

• Act as a reliable resource for employees, swiftly and clearly addressing payroll and equity inquiries.

• Collaborate with Finance, People, Legal, and external auditors to ensure consistency and readiness for audits.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• 6–10+ years of pertinent payroll experience, with considerable exposure to stock plan administration.

• In-depth understanding of U.S. payroll regulations, tax compliance, and reporting obligations.

• Demonstrated experience in identifying control weaknesses and implementing enhancements within a SOX-regulated setting.

• Background in supporting external audits and direct interaction with auditors.

• Familiarity with equity administration platforms, with a strong preference for Fidelity.

• Experience with payroll systems like Paycom (preferred) or similar platforms.

• Proven capability to independently manage and enhance critical processes in a high-accountability atmosphere.
