Manager – Patient Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Ensures that all personnel adhere to the appropriate billing protocols and receive essential compliance training.

• Guarantees prompt updates to the billing system to facilitate necessary billing adjustments.

• Engages in the formulation, execution, and upkeep of policies, objectives, and both short- and long-term planning.

• Executes all related tasks within the revenue cycle management system.

• Undertakes supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, selecting, and training new staff members;

• Provides comprehensive direction and oversight for billing, follow-up, collections, and resolution of all payor accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible and relevant work experience.

• Capability to develop long-term business plans and strategies.

• Proficiency in fostering effective working relationships and building consensus.

• Skill in mediating and resolving complex issues and challenges.

• Familiarity with accounts receivables and reimbursement management.

• Knowledge of CPT, ICD9 coding, and medical terminology.

• Understanding of government program regulations and requirements pertaining to billing and collections of accounts receivable.
