• Lead through collaboration with others and engage with executives to deliver proactive, strategic consulting on organizational effectiveness and design, employee engagement and experience, workforce planning and talent acquisition, change management, performance, and talent management. Concentrate efforts where the impact of people decisions is most significant, advising on essential workforce, leadership, and organizational choices that influence business outcomes.
• Build a high-performing team of Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Consultants by providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to enhance their capabilities. Ensure the team's focus remains on top-of-license, value-adding OE interventions that maximize enterprise value.
• Establish and maintain proactive, strategic relationships as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on organizational matters. Offer strategic leadership coaching to senior leaders and leadership teams, enhancing their ability to navigate transformation and uncertainty. Guide and influence executives to make informed, confident decisions regarding workforce and organizational design by assisting them in evaluating trade-offs, risks, and the implications of talent and organizational options.
• Employ comprehensive systems thinking across various business functions to align people strategies and programs with business priorities while proactively reducing organizational risks. Advise leaders on organizational design, role clarity, decision rights, and team effectiveness to ensure that structures and leadership models facilitate strategy execution. Diagnose systemic organizational issues by targeting root causes rather than symptoms, developing solutions that address those root causes.
• Lead and exemplify a robust change management mindset, serving as an organizational change subject matter expert to business leadership. Support leaders and their teams through organizational and team evolution during periods of transformation, growth, or increased complexity. Implement effective change management strategies to boost stakeholder engagement and ensure the successful execution of organizational initiatives, with measurable, sustained adoption of change.
• Oversee and facilitate the implementation of enterprise talent management programs (e.g., performance management, culture and engagement initiatives, talent reviews, succession planning, year-end compensation) within client groups. Collaborate closely with Centers of Expertise (Talent Management, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Change Management, People Analytics; Enterprise Capabilities & Enablement) to shape and integrate these solutions, ensuring alignment with the overall people strategy.
• Lead the dissemination of best practices and provide expert analysis, consultation, gap assessments, team facilitations, and solutions for complex organizational challenges. Suggest process improvements and enhancements to promote efficiency and effectiveness in OE initiatives, continuously refining methodologies and outcomes.
• Engage in initiatives that require coordination across all lines of business, operating with an enterprise-wide perspective to prioritize decisions and interventions that yield the most significant organizational value over local optimization. Manage assignments of substantial scope and complexity, affecting multiple functions and locations across the organization.
• Synthesize insights from workforce data, organizational diagnostics, and enterprise intelligence into clear, executive-ready perspectives that guide leadership decision-making. Utilize data-driven storytelling to link people metrics to business outcomes, trade-offs, and risks, ensuring leaders are equipped with the information needed to act decisively.
• 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally in HR Business Consulting; 1+ years of supervisory/management experience, preferably overseeing HR business partners, organizational effectiveness consultants, or a related function.
• BA/BS in a related field or equivalent practical experience. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• In-depth expertise in organizational effectiveness, strategic workforce planning, and leadership advisory within complex, matrixed business environments.
• Experience in a shared services or Center of Expertise (COE) environment and leading Service Delivery teams is highly advantageous.
• Proven track record of comprehensive (macro and micro level) organizational design implementations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of formulating, articulating, and executing strategy within a matrixed HR delivery system. Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to conduct and interpret complex quantitative and qualitative data analyses and extract key themes from disparate data points to develop coherent insights.
• Proven history of coaching, developing, and influencing executive leaders (VP+), with demonstrated success in guiding leaders through transformation, ambiguity, and competing priorities to achieve strategic initiatives. Comfort in negotiation, conflict resolution, and presenting opposing viewpoints to challenge assumptions and enhance decision-making.
• Exceptional business acumen, with a thorough understanding of business operations and strategy. Ability to connect strategy, operating models, and financial drivers to people and leadership implications, enabling proactive inquiry and the development of effective people strategy solutions for clients.
• Proven success in driving growth and transformative, large-scale change within organizations. Experience transitioning organizations from traditional HR practices to a more impactful and influential model, along with expertise in high-performance HR practices.
