This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.
• Oversee and mentor a team of 2–5 manufacturing engineers at the CM site located in Chonburi, ensuring established priorities and effective daily operations.
• Act as the primary liaison, working closely with CM to facilitate daily updates regarding infrastructure status, capacity readiness, and alignment in execution.
• Take charge of the optics manufacturing infrastructure, which includes installation, qualification, availability, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Ensure that CM engineers and technicians receive accurate training and are capable of maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment.
• Manage spare parts and consumables for infrastructure, ensuring their availability and efficient usage to support high-volume production.
• Standardize and continuously enhance maintenance and troubleshooting procedures, including defining and monitoring relevant benchmarks.
• Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions to address production issues and prevent their recurrence.
• Foster team development and work collaboratively across functions to drive manufacturing strategies, sustaining a high-availability optical production line.
• Partner with the Israeli team to maintain efficient operations on the CM assembly floor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
• More than 8 years of technical experience in Assembly Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in an engineering management role.
• Background in Engineering, Optics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity and experience in optics assembly.
• Dedicated to understanding and supporting colleagues.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Experience in managing suppliers, OSAT, and CM.
• Performs effectively in a high-pressure and dynamic environment.
• Proficient in English.
