• Take ownership of the denovo operational playbook from pre-opening through the incubation phase, which includes site readiness, staffing ramp-up, scheduling build-out, systems setup, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Clinical, Services, People, and Finance teams to coordinate and execute all workstreams necessary for timely and planned new center openings.
• Provide on-site operational support during the incubation period until new centers achieve fill, margin, and quality milestones, followed by a transition to steady-state operations.
• Continuously enhance the denovo model based on post-launch evaluations, aiming to shorten time-to-profitability and minimize execution risks for subsequent openings.
• Implement and uphold BOS processes at the center level, ensuring that day-to-day operational data is precise, actionable, and utilized in decision-making processes.
• Identify and eliminate waste, redundancy, and manual workarounds across centers and functional areas, applying operational excellence principles.
• Disseminate essential dashboards and OKRs to center leaders; convert performance data into clear, prioritized actions.
• Design, implement, and iteratively improve the scheduling systems and standards that govern clinician utilization, RBT/BCBA pairing, client authorization fulfillment, and billable/non-billable ratios.
• Conduct regular audits of center performance, highlighting gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities across the network.
• Prepare reports and insights for the Services Delivery team and center leaders; escalate risks and recommend corrective measures.
• Serve as an internal consultant on assigned projects, managing scope, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
• Promote Bierman’s core values and exemplify a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, operations, industrial engineering, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 5–7 years of experience in operations, process management, healthcare operations, consulting, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a multi-site healthcare or service delivery organization is strongly preferred; direct experience with new site establishment (denovo execution) is highly valued.
• Proven experience in designing or managing scheduling, workforce management, or capacity optimization systems.
• Strong analytical and auditing skills with the capability to translate data into actionable insights; proficiency with Excel/Sheets modeling and BI tools is essential.
• Working knowledge of operational excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent).
• Effective project management and organizational capabilities; adept at managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of establishing credible partnerships with leaders at all levels, from center floor to executive team.
• Demonstrated ability to temporarily assume leadership roles and stabilize operations.
• Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working primarily in a MacOS environment.
• Familiarity with or the ability to quickly learn Bierman’s technology platforms, including CentralReach and Tableau.
• Willingness to travel to centers as required to support denovo launches and audits.
