Manager, Online Banking – Technical Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead the complete technical delivery for designated implementations, encompassing task planning, estimations, dependencies, deliverables, technical solution design, code build timelines, and implementation documentation.

• Supervise product configuration, custom development, mobile implementation, UI/UX configuration, integrations, environment readiness, performance testing, security assessments, architecture reviews, design decisions, and code review standards.

• Manage, mentor, and cultivate developers and technical leads while balancing workloads and assessing staffing and capacity needs.

• Assist in onboarding and training processes and foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Act as a client-facing technical leader collaborating with clients, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Product Development teams, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

• Define requirements, direct solutions, resolve integration challenges, and support defect triage and technical troubleshooting efforts.

• Oversee go-live and production readiness initiatives, including playbooks, pilot plans, validation strategies, code promotions, approval checkpoints, cutover readiness, operational readiness, and post-installation verification.

• Enhance automation, quality controls, repeatability, and developer productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of pertinent software engineering, implementation, or technical delivery experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 12+ years with a Master’s degree or higher.

• Advanced to Expert proficiency in 10+ core technologies and practices, including ASP.NET, C#, XML, JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, jQuery, XSLT, .NET Core, SQL Server, APIs, microservices, CI/CD, and Azure.

• Experience in at least 2 banking domain areas, such as retail banking, business banking, fintech solutions, or digital banking delivery models.

• Bachelor’s degree or 1+ Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.

• Nice to have: 1+ professional certification in Azure, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, security, architecture, or technical leadership.

• Nice to have: exposure to 2+ additional domain areas, including U.S. digital payments, core banking systems, or third-party banking integrations.

• Nice to have: experience in 3+ advanced practice areas, such as enterprise architecture, security and performance testing, observability and reliability engineering, or AI-assisted engineering.
