Manager of Software Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the technical architecture for both Salesforce and Node.js systems.

• Taking full responsibility for the execution and delivery of development projects.

• Enhancing and managing the performance of the development team, with direct accountability for their output.

• Accelerating development velocity and eliminating bottlenecks.

• Setting clear engineering standards and promoting accountability within the team.

• Leading the training and onboarding of Node.js developers into Salesforce (anticipated ramp-up period of 1–2 months), providing hands-on guidance and technical oversight.

• Collaborating closely with the CEO and leadership team to prioritize and execute initiatives.

• Directly managing and mentoring developers, rather than merely coordinating through multiple layers.

• Making decisive technical choices when necessary to ensure uninterrupted execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development.

• Extensive Salesforce experience at the architectural level.

• Demonstrated experience serving as a technical architect.

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js in live production environments.

• Proven track record of managing developers and being accountable for project delivery.

• Capability to design and oversee end-to-end system architecture.

• A strong ownership mindset focused on execution.

• You take responsibility for outcomes beyond just completing tasks.

• Ability to quickly evaluate team capabilities, identify gaps, and implement solutions.

• Comfort in making decisions and being held accountable for those decisions.

• Providing structure, stability, and accountability within engineering teams.

• Ability to train developers lacking Salesforce experience.
