Manager of Software Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Overseeing technical architecture within Salesforce and Node.js environments.

• Taking full responsibility for the execution and delivery of development projects.

• Enhancing and managing the performance of developers within the team, with direct accountability for their output.

• Promoting development speed and eliminating obstacles to efficiency.

• Establishing precise engineering standards and ensuring accountability.

• Leading the training and onboarding of Node.js developers into Salesforce (with an expected ramp-up period of 1–2 months), which includes providing hands-on guidance and technical oversight.

• Collaborating directly with the CEO and leadership team regarding priorities and execution strategies.

• Actively managing and mentoring developers, rather than merely coordinating through multiple layers.

• Making final technical decisions when necessary to prevent execution delays.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development.

• Substantial experience with Salesforce at an architectural level.

• Demonstrated experience as a technical architect.

• Strong practical experience with Node.js in production environments.

• Experience in managing developers and being accountable for their delivery.

• Ability to design and maintain comprehensive system architecture.

• Strong ownership mentality with a focus on execution.
