This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Recruit, attract, onboard, and guide a team of exceptional Observability Architects from varied backgrounds and experiences.
• Collaborate with our Engagement Management team to define, develop, and implement impactful customer lifecycle frameworks.
• Maximize your team's potential using a servant leadership approach. Embracing a player/coach mentality will be crucial, allowing you to balance your field responsibilities with your team's needs.
• Take ownership of retention and expansion initiatives.
• Direct your daily activities based on leadership guidance and objectives, managing the planning, actions, and outcomes for the region.
• Partner with US Sales leadership on customer programs, marketing efforts, and community/company events to enhance adoption and growth within our customer base.
• Provide executive sponsorship for key accounts in the region, positioning yourself as a thought leader to both customers and within Grafana Labs.
• Understand and contribute to the strategies of your key customers for adopting Grafana technologies, developing programs and materials to help them meet their goals.
• Ensure your customers' needs are met through collaboration with Product Management and Engineering.
• Manage and report on your team's quarterly performance as they assist prospects in evaluating our software through demonstrations, technical deep dives, trials, and POVs.
• Educate and empower viewers, editors, and architects on how to utilize the Grafana stack effectively.
• Assist in building or modifying crucial SLA dashboards within the production environment.
• Collaborate closely with our sales team to communicate the overall Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers and internal teams to provide a feedback loop on our products and the competitive landscape.
• Work with the team to improve documentation, write blog posts, produce videos, contribute to knowledge base articles, and create other public and internal enablement materials.
• Residing in a PST timezone.
• Over 3 years of experience leading a team and 5+ years in the high-tech industry, with roles such as TAM Manager, SE Manager, Developer, Sales Engineer/Architect, or Manager.
• Proven experience in mentoring, developing talent, and managing performance over time.
• Familiarity with Open Source selling or a Cloud-first/Product-led sales approach is a significant advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of operational expertise in the Grafana Platform (LGTM) and/or competing observability products.
• Direct experience in selling monitoring, data, or visualization products.
• Creative problem-solving skills for addressing customer adoption challenges.
• Ability to proactively assist customers with technical issues and support troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Timely identification and provision of workarounds and solutions to meet customer business needs.
• Extensive expertise in Grafana deployment design.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, enabling collaboration with remote-first internal teams and global customers. Ability to articulate our value proposition and the technical advantages of our products effectively.
