This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Establish, oversee, and nurture robust professional relationships within the vendor sector for Allstate Canada.
• Evaluate casualty vendor markets nationally to pinpoint strengths, opportunities, and claim strategies that will adapt to the evolving insurance landscape.
• Execute policies, processes, and procedures related to Vendor Programs, ensuring effectiveness and compliance.
• Oversee the performance of the vendor network as necessary based on outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate the onboarding, renewal, and offboarding of vendors.
• Analyze statistical reports, utilizing data to inform decision-making.
• Actively manage the vendor network concerning loss costs.
• Provide trend analysis to the Claims Senior Leadership Team.
• Partner with Procurement to ensure that appropriate contractual language directs vendors to comply with regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Monitor and sustain existing programs aimed at enhancing customer service outcomes.
• Identify needs/gaps and implement sanctioned solutions designed to improve customer satisfaction results.
• Create opportunities for clients to give feedback on vendors, and produce and maintain vendor scorecards.
• Guide a dedicated team to support your vision within the vendor space.
• At least 5 years of experience in a vendor or procurement environment (or a comparable field in claims/casualty industry).
• A minimum of 2 years of people management experience or similar roles of influence.
• Enrollment in, or completion of, CIP, ACIP, FCIP designation is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and propose solutions.
• Strong negotiation skills and the capacity to manage conflict resolution opportunities, including complex issues.
• In-depth knowledge of claims and insurance regulations.
• Proficient in collaborative mentoring and coaching techniques.
• Strong influencing capabilities with a willingness to embrace change.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, along with extensive knowledge of business technology systems used in the casualty claims sector.
• Solid understanding of foundational management concepts, including Continuous Improvement, Agile, and Change Management.
