Manager, Mechanical Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of Mechanical Claims Adjusters.

• Clearly communicate job expectations while planning, monitoring, and evaluating job performance.

• Provide coaching and counseling to staff, while initiating and enforcing necessary systems, policies, and procedures.

• Ensure workflow efficiency by overseeing process steps and making revisions to systems as required.

• Supervise quality control and reporting, while monitoring claims and phone queues.

• Support the Director of Operations with projects aimed at enhancing accuracy and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

• At least 3 years of experience in customer service.

• Over 5 years of experience in automotive repairs.

• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and complete projects and tasks promptly.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

• Capability to coach, mentor, and lead effectively.

• Proficient in interacting with applicants, associates, management, and both internal and external customers.

• Active listener with the ability to adapt and respond to diverse personality types.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive company information and exercise judgment and tact in applying policies, resolving issues, and communicating standards.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Proven ability to resolve customer issues using innovative and effective methods.

• Competent in operating computer hardware and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and specialized software applications.

• Ability to type at a minimum of 45 words per minute.

• Strong mathematical skills.

• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.

• Maintain a positive attitude and remain composed under pressure.
