This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of marketing specialists, enhancing their technical, strategic, analytical, and creative skills to convert strategy into impactful marketing solutions across various channels such as direct mail, email, mobile, and web.
• Take ownership of the creative processes, execution, and delivery of marketing strategies across business lines with clearly established standards to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, technology, and data teams to improve tools, workflows, and integrations.
• Demonstrated success in managing channel-specific programs that synchronize offers, messaging, creative, and member experiences.
• Guide, mentor, and develop teams in personalization and journey orchestration at scale, enhancing capabilities in strategy, execution, and optimization across multiple channels (e.g., email, mobile, web).
• Possess a strong grasp of audience segmentation, behavioral triggers, and dynamic content to provide relevant and timely experiences.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure that paid engagements align with client recommendations and established growth strategies.
• Bring a profound understanding of what drives creative performance across various platforms and formats.
• Establish and uphold standards, playbooks, and processes to facilitate repeatable, high-quality personalization execution across teams.
• Develop structured testing frameworks for creative, audiences, offers, and funnels, translating insights into clear recommendations for future creative, messaging, and campaign enhancements.
• Previous experience in a creative solutions role with extensive collaboration with designers, copywriters, and content teams to produce performance-driven creative at the required pace.
• Exhibit exceptional communication, collaboration, and project management skills to effectively enhance or launch new solutions across the Consulting organization.
• Continuously monitor industry and competitor offerings to enhance strategic marketing solutions and uncover new opportunities for deployment within the Velera ecosystem.
• Define and shape business plans to incorporate new strategies, offers, and messages for consumer marketing initiatives aimed at driving performance and achieving company objectives.
• Work closely with stakeholders and across the organization to proactively define, create, and implement solutions that involve multi-market and hyper-personalized member communications.
• Develop, implement, and document departmental processes, controls, and procedures for marketing solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and key contributor to both team and cross-functional departments.
• Advocate for change leadership to enhance Velera’s consulting services and promote a culture of entrepreneurial innovation where consultants are motivated to discover new solutions that benefit our clients.
• 10+ years of marketing experience working with in-house creative teams, focusing on end-to-end campaign execution and delivery.
• Seven (7) years of experience in a mix of payments, product, or operations within the banking sector and three (3) years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Five (5) years of experience in strategy, data, analytics, and marketing technology, preferably with tools like Adobe, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
