Manager, Last Mile Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Supervise the daily functions of contract carriers.

• Manage contractor schedules and track routes.

• Utilize route planning software to create optimal delivery paths.

• Oversee the dispatch of contract carriers and address issues as they arise throughout the day.

• Identify areas for improvement and reorganize routes to enhance operational efficiency.

• Train and mentor contract carriers and dispatch personnel.

• Ensure adherence to corporate warehouse policies.

• Supervise staff and handle complaints and problem resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant logistics and supervisory experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Familiarity with operating a forklift and pallet jack.

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field (preferred).

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays, days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

• Experience in mentoring, training, and supporting less-experienced team members.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (ability to read, write, and speak both languages).

• Strong understanding of business principles.
