This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Act as Educate!’s main contact for a new array of high-net-worth individual donors, family offices, and philanthropists from the tech sector located on the US West Coast.
• Foster trustworthy, long-lasting partnerships with founders, operators, leaders in AI and technology, and next-generation philanthropists who are interested in global development and economic opportunities.
• Discover and cultivate new connections with potential supporters within the founder, investor, effective altruism, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
• Represent Educate! with professionalism, credibility, and warmth during external interactions.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of partner priorities and proactively seek opportunities to align Educate!’s initiatives with their interests and giving strategies.
• Map and engage relevant communities throughout the West Coast.
• Organize and host intimate gatherings, dinners, learning sessions, and other experiences that unite exceptional individuals around Educate!’s mission and vision.
• Create persuasive pitches, one-pagers, and communications customized for tech-sector and high-net-worth audiences.
• Early yet evident signs of high performance in challenging environments—whether in consulting, a rapidly growing startup, a nonprofit, or another setting.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, especially for high-stakes, external-facing materials.
• Strong organizational capabilities coupled with a proactive approach to execution.
• Some experience with high-value external relationships, strategic initiatives, or fundraising—even in a supporting role.
• The curiosity and intelligence to quickly understand Educate!'s work, our funding landscape, and the high-net-worth philanthropy ecosystem.
