This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee export/import licensing and compliance initiatives within Raytheon’s Land & Air Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit.
• Formulate export and import strategies for global suppliers, manage purchase order issuance, and facilitate foreign production of defense and dual-use items.
• Create licensing plans and offer guidance on intricate licensing strategies and program development.
• Interpret and apply ITAR and EAR regulations for Business Unit staff.
• Prepare, submit, track, acquire, and manage export/import licenses, permits, certifications, TAAs, MLAs, and other authorizations.
• Develop export/import approvals for technology, technical data, hardware, and services.
• Coordinate with functions, stakeholders, and foreign entities to review effort scope prior to submission.
• Secure signed agreements and necessary documentation from foreign parties.
• Provide program and stakeholder status updates.
• Oversee daily execution of agreements and licenses while monitoring changes in authorization.
• Review and authorize foreign travel, foreign visits, and export/import transactions.
• Maintain records of trade compliance.
• Support learning, audit evaluations, compliance investigations, audits, and corrective measures.
• Apply international trade regulations to practical business scenarios.
• Manage complex permanent and temporary exports, temporary imports, re-exports, and re-transfers.
• Design and deliver training for employees involved in international business.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource for personnel involved in export/import licensing.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of licensing and compliance processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
• Proficient in applying U.S. global trade regulations, including ITAR, EAR, Customs, and ATF.
• Familiarity with DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR EASE, and/or SAP/GTS-related systems.
• Experience in drafting, submitting, executing, and managing agreements, licenses, General Correspondences, Third Party Transfers, complex export strategies, and similar requests.
• An active and valid DoD Secret security clearance is mandatory from the first day.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens can obtain a security clearance.
• Capability to acquire and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
• Ability to operate effectively under time-sensitive conditions, both collaboratively and independently.
• Strong communication skills for developing and delivering training sessions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical skills and the capacity to accurately interpret and apply global trade regulations.
